About ebrands
I am currently coordinating the urban environmental studies program at Birmingham Southern College in Birmingham, AL. We moved here this past June from Iowa City, IA. I grew up on a farm in northeast Iowa and have spent time in Germany, Ecuador, and now Alabama.
I am interested generally in promoting and achieving sustainability through education, experimentation, and action of various kinds. My main interests are in water quality, environmental policy, earth science, and microfinance. I also like to exercise, garden, and explore wilderness areas.
